TWO overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) have gone missing in Hong Kong.
The Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Hong Kong confirmed that Imee Mahilum Pabuaya, 24; and Aleli Perez Tibay, 33, went missing since October 4.
The two were last seen at the Yeung Uk Road, Tsuen Wan District, Hong Kong.
Pabuaya reportedly last communicated with her family on the said date, saying she sent money to her mother.
On the same day, Pabuaya’s sister, Irene, received a message from Imee’s employer that the OFW has gone missing.
The OWWA is coordinating with the families of the two OFWs for possible assistance while investigation is ongoing.
The consulate is communicating with the Hong Kong police to track the two missing Filipinos.
