CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Love and duty intertwined in a heartwarming ceremony as five police couples on Wednesday tied the knot during the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) mass wedding 2025 held at the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chapel in this camp.
The solemn ceremony was officiated by Rev. Fr. Lt. Col. Jonathan Chy, regional pastoral officer, and sponsored by PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., together with the Command Group.
The event forms part of PRO3’s continuing efforts to promote the moral and spiritual upliftment of its personnel and their families.
Peñones emphasized the importance of family as the cornerstone of a disciplined and service-driven police force.
“Behind every dedicated police officer is a strong and supportive family. This celebration reminds us that love and unity at home strengthen our commitment to serve the people with integrity, compassion, and professionalism,” he said.
The newlyweds received tokens and blessings from the regional director and members of the Command Group, who extended their warm wishes for lasting love and a faith-filled married life.
The ceremony also reflected PRO3’s dedication to holistic personnel development, in line with the PNP Focused Agenda of acting chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., particularly in Personnel Welfare and Development, and consistent with the organization’s 3Ps advocacy — Protect the People, Pursue Peace and Order, and Promote Professionalism.
Following the ceremony, a simple yet joyful reception was held at the PRO3 Multi-Purpose Hall, where the couples, along with their sponsors, family members, and fellow officers, celebrated their unions with gratitude and fellowship.
