TWO of the most wanted felons in Central Luzon on Monday were arrested by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Regional Field Unit 3 (RFU3) and the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) in separate operations in Pampanga.
The arrests were made as part of the police’s “Oplan Pagtugis” drive.
Personnel of the CIDG Angeles City Field Unit (CFU), in coordination with the PRO3 Regional Intelligence Division-Cyber Patrol Team, Angeles City police and Criminal Investigation Unit (CIU-ACPO), arrested alias “Gale,” 27, of Capaya II, Angeles City.
“Gale” is the no. 1 most wanted in Central Luzon.
The arrest was made based on a warrant for 19 counts of violation of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003 (RA 9208) issued by RTC Branch 114, Angeles City, dated October 27, 2025, with no bail recommended.
The charges stemmed from a December 2024 rescue operation in Porac, Pampanga, where authorities saved 24 women allegedly exploited in a human trafficking scheme.
Investigations identified “Gale” as one of the suspected pimps involved, leading to the filing of criminal complaints and subsequent issuance of the warrant of arrest.
On the same day, elements of the CIDG Pampanga Provincial Field Unit (PFU), in coordination with the Pampanga Provincial Intelligence Team (PIT), arrested alias “Dolfo,” 64, of Bgy. San Jose, San Fernando City, Pampanga.
“Dolfo” is the no. 2 most wanted person in the region.
The suspect was nabbed based on warrants of arrest issued by RTC Branch 41, San Fernando City for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165) and for Unlawful Possession of Firearm or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
CIDG Regional Field Unit 3 (RFU3) chief Col. Grant Gollod commended the successful coordination among operating units, emphasizing that the arrests reflect CIDG’s commitment to pursue and apprehend wanted persons across Central Luzon.
“These operations reaffirm our resolve to bring fugitives of the law to justice and ensure that offenders are held accountable,” Gollod said.
