THE Department of Science and Technology (DOST)-Calabarzon recently commemorated its 60th founding anniversary.
The event, with the theme: “DOST 4’s 60 Years of Iridescence: Illuminating the Path of Science, Technology, and Innovation,” was held at the Lima Park Hotel on November 17.
According to DOST-Calabarzon, the objective of the occasion is to show gratitude to the staff, project partners, laboratory clients, media collaborators, and SETUP adopters and thank the invaluable partners whose significant contributions have propelled the organization’s success over the years.
DOST-Calabarzon regional director Emelita P. Bagsit opened the event by expressing gratitude and acknowledging the monumental journey of DOST-4A over the past six decades.
The program continued with a series of recognitions. Francisco R. Barquilla III, Assistant Regional Director for Technical Operations, presents awards to Project Partners and Collaborators, highlighting their role in the organization’s success.
Agnes G. Morales, Testing and Calibration Laboratory Center manager acknowledged and awarded Loyal Laboratory Customers for their support.
Krizzia Mei Esperanza of the Public Affairs, Relations, and Communications unit head presented the Gawad Tambuli Award, and Lyn A. Fernandez, Assistant Regional Director for Finance and Administrative Services, presented Certificates of Ownership to Graduated SETUP Adopters.
The event aims to nurture existing partnerships and forge new ones to ensure continual support and collaboration in science and technology.
