POLICE are conducting an in-depth investigation into the killing of a Grade 8 student in Agoncillo, Batangas.
The victim, a 13-year-old girl, was a resident of Bgy. Banyaga in Agoncillo town.
She was on her way to school when shot in the head by a lone gunman.
Agoncillo Police Station officer-in-charge Maj. Broderick Noprada said the suspect, who was wearing a jacket and shorts, fled on a motorcycle after the gun attack.
An investigation showed that prior to the killing, the suspect was seen escorting the young girl.
For unknown reason, the suspect took a cal. 9mm and without a word shot the girl in the head.
The victim’s family are crying for justice for the young girl.
Police are checking the CCTV near the crime scene to determine the identity and possible arrest of the gunman.
An investigation is ongoing.
