‘FLOATING LIBRARY.’ MV Doulos Hope dubbed the international “floating library” arrives in Batangas City and is now open to the public. The vessel is carrying more than 2,000 different types of books that are for sale at affordable cost, including children’s books, cookery, classics, novels, books on family and parenting, and bibles. MV Doulos Hope is now docked at the Batangas International Port in Bgy. Sta. Clara, Batangas City. MV Doulos Hope is an international ship operated by GBA Ships e.V., a non-profit, charity organization registered in Germany that is visiting various countries. The “floating library” has 120 crew members from 30 countries of which 22 are Filipinos. It s open from April 16 to April 28 at 2 p.m. to 8 p.m..
