A PUBLIC school teacher on Monday was found dead, with a gunshot wound in the head, inside a tricycle in Talugtug, Nueva Ecija.
The Nueva Ecija police identified the victim as Romnick Grospe, 34, a resident of Roxas District, Talugtug town.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. indicated that the victim’s father, Fernando, 69, a farmer, of Purok 2, Bgy. Alula, Talugtug, found his son inside his tricycle, with blood oozing from Romnick’s head.
The teacher was rushed to the Guimba General Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.
Police are conducting an investigation for the possible arrest of the gunman and to determine the motive for the killing.
