THE Clark Development Corporation (CDC) reopened parks in the Clark Freeport featuring upgraded playgrounds, with new playsets and enhanced safety features, providing families and children with improved recreational spaces.
During the ribbon-cutting for the children’s playground and Bicentennial Park, CDC president and CEO attorney Agnes VST Devanadera underscored the significance of parks and open spaces for community wellness and recreation.
“Maganda talaga ito. Parks are something we don’t usually have in other areas. The open spaces here are valuable and often sought after, with the trees and clean surroundings that children love to explore. As mentioned, this isn’t just for play. This is where the children build their memories and I am so happy that we finally have this,” Devanadera said.

Among the key enhancements were the installation of a concrete pad layered with rubber mulch, ensuring safety and comfort for children as they play. The rubber mulch acts as a protective surface, absorbing shocks and minimizing playground injuries.
Brand new playsets were installed including a triangle deck, spiral tunnel slide, curved monkey bar, and several smaller playsets, offering enhanced recreational options for visitors.
The upgraded playground and parks are part of CDC’s commitment to enhancing Clark’s appeal as a premier destination for leisure activities and family bonding.
