TWO young siblings on Wednesday night died after they were trapped in their burning house in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
The victims, a 3-year-old girl, and her 1-year-old baby brother were killed when their house caught fire at Purok 1, Bgy. Manga in Tagbilaran City.
Investigation showed the fire started around 8:10 p.m. on Wednesday while the father identified as Edgardo Lasco and his children were sleeping.
The blaze engulfed the entire house made-up of light materials.
The 54-year-old father tried to save his children but to no avail. He suffered severe burns and was rushed to Gov. Celestino Gallares Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
The mother of the toddlers was reportedly working outside of Bohol province when her children met their tragic death.
