A MEMBER of the Bacolor police in Pampanga on Wednesday was relieved from his post over alleged lascivious acts on a female police officer.
Based on a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Pampanga police commander Col. Jay Dimaandal ordered the relief of the accused cop.
The relief order was based on a complaint filed by a 30-year-old female police officer detailed at the Bacolor Police Station.
According to Dimaandal, initial probe by the Pampanga police revealed that the suspect, a male police officer also assigned at the Bacolor PNP, instructed the victim to accompany him to a police response on a reported theft incident at the Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine located in Bgy. Cabetican, Bacolor.
The duo boarded the cop-suspect’s private vehicle and after the response at the church, the suspect asked the victim to come along with him to the Guagua detention facility to take some photos for his project at his current schooling.
The victim said when they were heading back to the Bacolor police station and traversing the road in Bgy. Cabalantian, the suspect suddenly started to caress her body while asking the victim if she feels something while touching her.
The victim also revealed that around 5:30 p.m. on August 9, the suspect asked her to accompany him in conducting inspection at the COMPAC 1 mega dike.
While the suspect was driving the vehicle, he asked the victim if she is okay with one night stand and if she ever fooled her boyfriend before.
The victim replied that she believes in karma and tried to ignore the suspect’s other teasing by showing her a sex video on his cellphone.
The female police officer added that there were instances that the suspect cracked green jokes to her, divulging his sex experiences with other women.
These made the victim feel uncomfortable, prompting her to file sexual harassment complaint against the fellow police officer.
