LTO, TAGAYTAY CITY LGU SIGN AGREEMENT FOR SINGLE TICKETING INTERCONNECTIVITY SYSTEM

THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) and the city government of Tagaytay on Monday signed an agreement that will pave the way to the interconnectivity of the City’s traffic enforcement unit to the agency’s online system.

LTO chief Assistant Secretary attorney Vigor D. Mendoza II and Tagaytay City Mayor Abraham N. Tolentino signed the deal.

According to Mendoza, the LTO-LGU Interconnectivity System will lead to the streamlining of operations between the two agencies in terms of Single Ticketing System.

“This MOA assures cooperation between your LTO and the city government of Tagaytay to ensure seamless connectivity in terms of ensuring the implementation of traffic rules and regulations as part of the road safety advocacy of our Department of Transportation Secretary Jaime J. Bautista,” said Mendoza.

“This program is important to the city government of Tagaytay, especially that this city is one of the favorite vacation destinations of a lot of people from Metro Manila and nearby provinces,” he added.

Tolentino emphasized that the collaboration is vital for promoting road discipline and enhancing public safety throughout the city.

“This memorandum of agreement is a significant step towards improved regulatory efficiency,” the mayor said.

The signing ceremony was attended by attorney Noreen Bernadette San Luis-Lutey, chairperson of the LTO-LGU Interconnectivity Project, Region IV-A regional director Elmer J. Decena, city administrator Alma A. Malabanan, city councilor Reynoso M. Espiritu, and ABC president Hon. Florencio Sangalang.

Other officials from LTO Region IV-A and local leaders from Tagaytay also witnessed the important event.
