A WOMAN working at a carinderia on Friday was shot dead in Porac, Pampanga.
Based on a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimaandal identified the victim as Lucila Canilao, 42, a food attendant and a resident of Hacienda Dolores, Porac, Pampanga.
Investigation showed that the victim was busy working at Barcia Carinderia located in Bgy. Hacienda Dolores, Porac when the suspect arrived and without a word shot the victim in the head.
The gunman fled on a Mio motorcycle towards SCTEX access road.
The victim was rushed to the Jose Songco Lapid District Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.
A flash alarm and dragnet operation were launched by the police for possible identification and arrest of the suspect.
