POLICE on Friday arrested a 77-year-old Australian for alarm and scandal in Angeles City.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Angeles City police director Col. Amado Mendoza Jr. identified the foreigner as James Button, a resident of Nepoville, Purok-4B, Bgy. Anunas, Angeles City.
Investigation showed a drunk Button, who was holding a liquor bottle, went to the Police Station 4 on M.A. Roxas Highway in Bgy. The foreigner was told to return during the scheduled visiting hours and that he should rest since he was drunk.
However, the foreigner ignored the policeman and tried to force his way to the custodial facility.
When the cop stopped Button, the foreigner uttered invictive words, prompting the officer to arrest him
Button will be charged with violations of Article 155 of the Revised Penal Code (alarm and scandal), Article 151 or simple disobedience, oral defamation and unjust vexation.
