A MAN on a motorcycle on Wednesday shot dead a car mechanic in Nueva Ecija.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Nueva Ecija police identified the victim as Jose Especial Jr., 39, of Purok 3, Bgy. Alua, San Isidro, Nueva Ecija.
Initial probe showed the victim was driving a maroon Kia (AMA 7807) on way home when upon reaching Tanchoco St., in Bgy. Alua, San Isidro, the suspect on a Yamaha Aerox motorcycle came from behind and suddenly fired successive shots at the victim.
The victim died on the spot.
Members of the San Isidro police are conducting a follow-up operation for possible apprehension of the suspect.
