AN election officer and his wife on Saturday were found murdered inside their house in Bgy. Cambian, Agutaya, Palawan.
Police identified the victims as Emmanuel Gacot, the election officer of Agutaya town, and his wife Frenie, owner of the Agutaya branch of Palawan Pawnshop.
A neighbor found the couple dead around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
The election officer was found inside the bedroom lying in a prone position while his wife was discovered in the kitchen with blood on her head.
Police are eyeing robbery as motive for the killing.
An investigation is ongoing.
