A STORE owner on Saturday was killed while a woman vendor was injured in a gun attack in Bgy. San Carlos, San Luis, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Redorico Maranan, Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimaandal identified the fatality as Kris Dave Bagtas, 25, of Purok 4, San Carlos, San Luis.
The injured was Juliet Bagtas, 57, of Bgy. San Carlos, San Luis.
The victims were sitting inside the store in front of their house when two men on a motorcycle arrived and pretended to be customers.
The backrider then alighted from the motorcycle and pulled out a gun and shot the victims several times.
The suspects fled after the attack.
Responding members of the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (BDRRMO) rushed the victims to the San Luis District Hospital but Bagtas was declared dead upon arrival.
Police immediately launched a flash alarm and are reviewing the CCTV footages in the area for possible identification and arrest of the suspects.
