AN American national facing violence against women charges on Friday was arrested in his home in Malabanias, Angeles City.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, Angeles City police director Col. Amado Mendoza Jr. identified the foreigner as Walter James Gaston, 55, a resident of Plaridel 1 Subdivision, Malabanias.
Warrant officer of the Angeles City Police Station 4 served the alias warrant of arrest on Gaston for violation of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 issued by Branch 26, Regional Trial Court of Sta. Cruz, Laguna, with a bail recommended at P72,000.
The arrested foreigner is now under the custody of the Angeles City police.
