CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla visited Police Regional Office 3 on Friday and praised his men for the swift action that led to the arrest of the suspects in the ambush-slaying of an online seller couple.
According to Remulla, the successful operation highlighted the dedication of PRO3 officers in upholding peace and justice in the region.
In his address to the officers of PRO3, Remulla commended their coordinated efforts and decisive actions that quickly brought the perpetrators to justice.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining the momentum in solving critical cases to ensure the public’s safety.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the hardworking men and women of Police Regional Office 3 for their diligence and quick response in capturing the suspects behind Lulu’s murder. Your efforts reflect the true spirit of public service and our commitment to uphold the rule of law,” the DILG secretary said.

Along with his commendation, Remulla also issued a directive to the leadership of PRO3 to intensify their crackdown on private armed groups (PAGs) in Central Luzon.
Remulla stressed the need for proactive measures to neutralize these groups that pose threats to the safety and security of local communities, especially in preparation for the upcoming 2025 elections.
“Our fight against private armed groups must be relentless. I urge the Police Regional Office 3 to double their efforts to dismantle these groups that undermine peace and stability in our region. We must ensure that our communities remain safe and secure, free from the influence of these lawless elements,” Remulla added.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan thanked Remulla for the support and vowed to carry out the instructions steadfastly.
“We stand ready to fulfill our mission of dismantling private armed groups and maintaining the peace in Central Luzon. The support and guidance from our leaders strengthen our resolve to serve and protect the people,” Maranan said.
Remulla’s visit uplifted the spirits of PRO3 officers and personnel, motivating them to strengthen their commitment to safeguarding the communities of Central Luzon as they gear up for the forthcoming 2025 elections.
