A NOTORIOUS leader of a criminal group on Monday was arrested in Bgy. Maloma, San Felipe, Zambales.
Nabbed was Raymond Lorenzana alias “Emon,” 39, a resident of Bgy. Pinaod, San Ildefonso, Bulacan, said a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan by the Zambales police.
According to Maranan, Lorenzana is the leader of the notorious Lorenzana Crime Group involved in murder, gun-for-hire, sale of illegal drugs and robbery-holdup in Bulacan and the neighboring provinces in Central Luzon.
The suspect was arrested based on two warrants of arrest for murder issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 81 and 82 of the City of Malolos, Bulacan, with no bail recommended.
“Sa pagkakaaresto kay Lorenzana, maraming kaso ng pagpatay at iba pang krimen ang mareresolba kung kaya naman patuloy ang pagpapaigting sa aming kampanyang wasakin at lansagin ang mga criminal group maging ang private armed groups dito sa rehiyon,” Maranan said.
Lorenzana was caught by a tracker team of the Provincial Intelligence Unit-Bulacan police, together with personnel of the San Felipe Police Statio, PIU Zambales, and the Regional Intelligence Division Police Regional Office 3.
