A KOREAN national who turned unruly on Thursday was arrested after causing fire at a gasoline station in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Nabbed was Sunbin Yim alias “Ben,” 41, a Korean national residing in Bgy. Telabastagan, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

According to Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimandal, the complainants were Jay Romel Nivera, 31, of Macapagal Village, Mabalacat City, Pampanga; and Vinson Corpuz, 38, of San Vicente, Bamban, Tarlac, both security guards at Hann Hotel and Casino, Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga.
Investigation showed the two security guards on motorcycle were chasing the suspect who was driving on Manuel A. Roxas Highway going to the direction of Hann Hotel and Casino.
The suspect accelerated his driven vehicle to evade apprehension but he was cornered at the Shell Gasoline Station in Clark Freeport Zone by mobile Patrol 7 and Patrol 26.
However, the driver intentionally rammed into a gasoline station pump causing a fire and incurred still undetermined damages.
The fire was later extinguished and put under control while the CDC paramedic unit immediately applied first aid to the suspect before he was transported to the Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center.
Charges for grave scandal, attempted homicide, and malicious mischief were filed against the arrested Korean.
