THE Office of Civil Defense has notified the provinces in Mindanao to expect aftershocks following a magnitude 6.6. earthquake yesterday morning.
In the report by PHIVOLCS with the OCD-National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council, a magnitude 6.6 earthquake hit several provinces of Mindanao.
The earthquake was experienced around 9:39 yesterday morning with a depth of 122 kilometers and tectonic in origin was determined at 434 kms. southeast of Balut Island, Sarangani, Davao Occidental as its epicenter.
As of this writing, there is no reported damage from the earthquake.
