AN agreement that is seen to benefit hundreds of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) has been sealed in Pampanga Thursday, Presidential Adviser for Poverty Alleviation Secretary Larry Gadon said.
Gadon witnessed the signing of a memorandum of agreement (MOA) between the BDO Network Bank and PHilko Group of Companies, where he was also the guest speaker of the event held at Quest City Hotel in Clark City.
According to him, the BDO Network Bank will finance MSMEs that PHilko Group will undertake in partnership with new various micro, small, medium enterprises.
Under the agreement, PHilko will assist in dealing with business models, product development, financing and marketing to MSMEs.
BDO will provide loans and financing to said enterprises that partnered with PHilko.
PHilko Group consists of 18 companies that are involved in pharmaceuticals whose products are sold in Watsons, Mercury Drug, Southstar and some generic stores.
“The joint efforts of BDO Network Bank and PHilko, will provide economic opportunities to a lot of Filipinos and will help in the poverty alleviation program of the Marcos administration,” Gadon said.
