A PASSENGER bus on Saturday caught fire in Pigcawayan, North Cotabato.
Pigcawayan police chief Maj. Andres Sumugat said the Mindanao Star Bus was traveling from Cotabato City to Davao City when the incident happened.
Witnesses said the bus suddenly caught fire upon reaching Bgy. South Manuangan around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
The driver, his conductor, and all the 20 passengers were all safe.
Initial investigation showed mechanical error started the fire.
An investigation is underway.
