PHILIPPINES’ bet Michelle Dee won the Best National Costume Award at the Miss Universe 2023 held in El Salvador last Sunday, the international pageant organizer announced Friday.
The outfit bore wings featuring the colors of the Philippine flag, a mural of tourist destinations, and the current tourism slogan, “Love The Philippines.”
Dee also wore a captain’s cap, highlighting her role as an Air Force reservist.
Aside from the Best National Costume Award, she also won the Spirit of Carnival Award, Voice for Change Gold Winner, and a Fan Vote Winner.
She finished in the Top 10 in the pageant.
