PASIG CITY Mayor Vico Sotto tested positive for Covid-19.
Sotto, on a Facebook post, said he exhibited mild symptoms of the coronavirus disease.
“Posting para humingi ng pasensiya sa lahat ng naka-schedule ngayong linggo. Ayaw niyo rin naman siguro ako ka-meeting habang tumutulo sipon ko haha,” the mayor said in his social media post.
“Sunod pa rin tayo sa protocol, postponed/via Zoom muna lahat hanggang mawala ang sintomas,” he added.
The mayor apologized for the postponed meetings scheduled for the week.
He urged everyone to stay safe amid the increasing cases of pneumonia in the country.
