MABALACAT CITY Mayor Crisostomo Garbo on Wednesday led a meeting with all the barangay chairpersons, including Liga ng mga Barangay president Rey Pineda, at the CRDDMO Conference Office.
Mayor Garbo discussed with them about his marching order on solid waste management.
The meeting was also attended by City Administrator Franco Alejo Madlangbayan and CENRO head, engineer Jesusa Santiago.
“The city’s environmental stewardship shone through as we engaged in a robust discussion on strategies and action plans to enhance our waste management protocols.,”Garbo said.
“This wasn’t just a meeting, it was a commitment ceremony — a pledge by all leaders to ensure Mabalacat City will shine brighter with our collective efforts in sustainability and cleanliness,” the mayor added.
Garbo emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among all the barangays in the city to achieve the goals for a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable city.
“Together, with your support, we will make strides in our journey towards excellence in environmental management,” Garbo said.
