“BASAG KOTSE” gang on Friday hit two towns in Nueva Ecija.
According to a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Nueva Ecija police said the first incident happened in Santa Rosa, while the other occured in Cabanatuan City.
Businessman Jessie Valmonte, 54, of Bgy. Luna told police that he parked his service vehicle, a blue Nissan Navarra with plate number NCR 2588 in front of Dingalan Restaurant in Bgy. San Mariano in Sta. Rosa.
When the victim returned to his vehicle, he found out that the right-side of the back seat passenger window was broken and his sling bag containing a cal. .45 gun, assorted IDs, a passbook and check book, at least P100,000 cash and other pertinent documents were missing.
In Bgy. Kapitan Pepe, Cabanatuan City, victim Jose Victor Robes, 34, operations manager of San Miguel Corporation and a resident of Bgy. Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, informed police that he parked the silver metallic Toyota Hilux Pick-up with plate no. NEG5796 at the parking lot of Tomo’s Bar and Restaurant.
Robes returned to the parking lot and was surprised to see the left side rear window of the vehicle was broken and his Lenovo laptop computer, PacSafe bag, Herschel sling, company passbooks, debit cards and different ID’s were missing.
Police are investigating the twin burglary.
