CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has mobilized more than 2,000 personnel to augment the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) for the three-day Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) activity from November 16 to 18.
A total of 2,272 personnel have been placed on standby and ready for immediate dispatch to Metro Manila.
The contingent includes 1,138 crowd dispersal management (CDM) forces and support teams, along with 1,139 standby units composed of female police officers, additional CDM teams, and members of the Regional Special Support Force (RSSF).
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. assured the public of the police force’s readiness and expressed confidence that the gathering will remain calm and orderly.
“Our personnel are fully prepared to support NCRPO and ensure that the activity remains safe, orderly, and peaceful. The INC community is known to be peace-loving and disciplined, and we are confident that the event will proceed calmly,” Peñones said.
“Our deployment aims to ensure the safety of all rallyists and the smooth conduct of the entire activity,” he added.
According to Peñones, the effort follows PRO3’s 3Ps Strategic Direction: Protect the People, Pursue Peace and Order, and Promote Professionalism.
Close coordination has been established between PRO3, NCRPO, and other partner agencies to guarantee synchronized security protocols.
Leading the PRO3 contingent is the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 (RMFB3) with 416 personnel, reinforced by augmentation teams from all provincial and city police offices across Central Luzon.
PRO3 assured citizens that police officers deployed to Metro Manila will observe maximum tolerance, courtesy, and professionalism, working closely with stakeholders to maintain order and ensure the safe conduct of the large-scale religious activity.
The 3-day INC event is expected to draw large crowds in the capital.
