3 AMERICAN SEX OFFENDERS STOPPED AT NAIA, CEBU AIRPORTS

THREE sex offenders were turned away by officers of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) in the international airports of Manila and Cebu.

Excluded last January 10 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 was American national Rolando Camama, 73, who arrived on board a China Airlines flight from Taipei.

Also barred from entering on the same day was Kenneth Ray Miller, 56, who arrived on board a China Eastern flight from Shanghai.

Meanwhile at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA), officers stopped from entering into the country 79-year-old Kenneth Anthony Mulford, who arrived from Dubai on January 11.

All three have been tagged by the US government as registered sex offenders (RSOs).

A sex offender registry is a system that is being implemented in several countries that allows their governments to monitor activities of sex offenders.

RSOs are persons convicted of crimes involving sexual offense, including rape, sexual assault or child molestation.

All three sex offenders were immediately sent back on board the next flight back to their country of origin and are included in the BI’s blacklist of unwanted aliens.
