The local government unit of Sta. Rosa in Laguna has declared January 18, 2024 a special non-working day in the city.
The declaration was to pave the way for the celebration of the 25th Sikhayan Festival and the 232nd Founding Anniversary of Santa Rosa.
Sikhayan is a festival that honors the resilience and perseverance of the people because the greatest wealth of Santa Rosa is its human resource.
