CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – A policeman was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in the City of San Fernando in Pampanga.
Nabbed was a 43-year-old police officer assigned at the San Fernando City Police Station and a resident of Bgy. San Nicolas, City of San Fernando.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. indicated that the suspect was caught by joint operatives of the Pampanga Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Provincial Intelligence Unit- Pampanga PPO , 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company- Pampanga Police Provincial Office and the San Fernando City Police Station in a sting in Bgy. Del Pilar, City of San Fernando.
Seized from the cop-suspect were at least 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000.
“We are relentless in our internal cleansing efforts and this is another proof that the police organization does not tolerate any wrongdoing or criminal involvement of our personnel,” Hidalgo said.
