MABALACAT Mayor Crisostomo C. Garbo and The Medical City Clark Inc. (TMCC) signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) establishing a partnership that aims to enhance healthcare services for the residents of the city.
The MOA, which was authorized by Resolution No. 285 Series of 2023, was approved by the Sangguniang Panlungsod members led by Vice Mayor Gerald Guttrie P. Aquino.
The resolution authorizes the city mayor to enter into a formal agreement with TMCC to improve healthcare practices and facilities in Mabalacat and implement the Rooming-in and Breastfeeding Act of 2009 in the city
Mayor Garbo and The Medical City Clark Inc. Chief Executive Officer Noel Laxamana MD signed the agreement.
Also present during the signing were Karol Jean E. Canlas, Evelyn L. Yumul, Dr. Allan Garcia, and Dr. Charmie Arribe from The Medical City Clark, along with Dr. Earl Kim P. De Leon representing the City Health Office, city administrator Franco Alejo Madlangbayan and attorney Jessiery Mae Corpuz.
“I am honored to announce this partnership with The Medical City Clark Inc., which marks a significant step forward for healthcare in our city,” said Garbo.
The mayor said the collaboration will not only enhance healthcare facilities in Mabalacat City but will also ensure the effective implementation of the Rooming-in and Breastfeeding Act of 2009, promoting the health and well-being of mothers and infants in their community.
The MOA outlines a comprehensive plan to improve healthcare facilities and services, with a specific focus on promoting and supporting breastfeeding practices.
Under the partnership, the Mabalacat City Government and The Medical City Clark Inc. will provide accessible, compassionate, and high-quality healthcare services to all the city residents.
