
POPULAR noontime show “It’s Showtime”” is now officially part of the GMA Network.
Starting April 6, 2024, it will air on main GMA channel.
This after executives of GMA Network and ABS-CBN on Wednesday afternoon, March 20, 2024 signed a contract for the noontime variety show ‘It’s Showtime’ to air on GMA’s flagship channel.
The contract signing was held in GMA Network Center on EDSA corner Timog Avenue in Quezon City.
The signing occurred just months after they sealed the deal for the show to air on GTV, a free-to-air channel by GMA Network.
Leading the ABS-CBN executives were chairman Mark Lopez and president Carlo Katigbak, while the GMA officers were led by Felipe Gozon and Gilberto Duavit Jr.
“It’s Showtime” hosts Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Karylle, Kim Chiu, Amy Perez, Ogie Alcasid, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Ryan Bang, Darren Espanto, Ion Perez, MC, Lassy, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez witnessed the signing following a motorcade from ABS-CBN to GMA Network.
“Maraming salamat po sa GMA sa pagtanggap ninyo lage. Ang init at sinsero ng pagmamahal ninyo. Maraming maraming salamat sa isa na namang napakainit na karanasan,” Vice Ganda said.
Katigbak expressed his gratitude to the GMA executives for welcoming them into the family.
