TWO children, aged 2 and 3, on Friday were found dead inside a parked car in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Angeles City police director Col. Amado Mendoza reported to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. that the victims were both residents of Sitio Cuayan Hensonville in Bgy. Malabanias, Angeles City.
Initial report showed that the driver of a maroon Toyota Vios with plate number CBE 3794 identified as Fermhan Pamintuan, 33, parked the car in front of his house in Sitio Cuayan Hensonville.
When he returned, he was shocked to find the two kids — a 3-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl – lifeless inside the car.
Pamintuan immediately informed the Angeles police and a rescue team from the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office led by Joanee Mae Calica and Rennald Pangilinan about the gruesome discovery.
According to the authorities, the two kids could have died of suffocation.
Based on the CCTV footage, before the victims were discovered dead, they were playing near the parked car.
The victims then opened the right side door and went inside.
Four hours later, they were found dead.
The two children were brought to the Funeral Pangilinan for autopsy examination.
