POLICE on Tuesday arrested an American national for acts of lasciviousness in Purok 1, Bgy. Cuayan, Angeles City.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Angeles City police director Col. Amado Mendoźa identified the suspect as Ted Matthew Ford, 60, temporarily staying at Hensonville Court, Bgy. Malabanias, Angeles City.
Joint members of the Angeles City police Criminal Investigation Unit, Criminal Investigation Division and Management Unit, Police Station 5 and the Regional Intelligence Unit 3 arrested the foreigner based on a warrant issued against him for acts of lasciviousness by an RTC judge in Caibiran, Biliran, with bail recommended at P200,000.
Mendoza said the accused was turned over to PS5 ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers) for custodial holding.
“This successful apprehension underscores the dedication and collaboration of our police units in upholding justice and ensuring public safety within our community,” said Hidalgo.
“It also reflects our commitment to making Region 3 a hostile environment for criminals. Our Central Luzon police force works tirelessly round the clock to safeguard our communities from individuals evading the law,” he added.
