THE Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has offered a P10 million reward for the arrest of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder Apollo Quiboloy.
A P1 million bounty was also offered for each of his five co-accused in several criminal cases.
In a press conference on Monday, July 8, DILG secretary Benhur Abalos announced the offering of the P10 million reward.
He said the reward will be given to anyone who could give information for the arrest of Quiboloy, who is facing charges of sexual abuse of children, exploitation, and human trafficking.
“Gusto ko hong I-anunsyo sa mga nanonood at nakikinig na meron tayong mga kaibigan na gustong tumulong sa paghahanap sa kanila at nago-offer ng reward na 10 million pesos for any information leading to the arrest of Pastor Quiboloy,” the DILG Secretary said.
Abalos also said that a total of P5 million or a P1 million reward each will be given for the arrest of Quiboloy’s co-accused identified as Cresente C. Canada, Paulene C. Canada, Ingrid C. Canada, Sylvia C. Cemañes, and Jackilyn W. Roy.
“And a 1 million each for Cresente Canada, Paulene Canada, Ingrid Canada, Jackelyn Roy, at Sylvia Cemañes,” Abalos added.
A warrant of arrest was issued against Quiboloy and five others by a Davao City Court on April 3, 2024, for alleged violation of the Anti-Child Abuse Law.
On April 11, a Pasig City court also issued a warrant for the arrest of the self-proclaimed “appointed son of God” for qualified human trafficking, a nonbailable offense.
