MORE than 300 policemen were deployed by the Pampanga Police Provincial Office on Friday to ensure security during President Ferdinand “Bongbong Marcos Jr.’s visit in the province to lead the distribution of financial aid to El Niño-hit farmers and fisherfolk.
The President was warmly welcomed by Police Regional Office 3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. (center) and Pampanga Police Provincial Office top cop Col. Jay Dimaandal (left).
PBBM led the distribution of the Presidential Assistance to Farmers, Fisherfolk and their Families Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (PAFF-AKAP) held at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in the city of San Fernando on Friday,
Marcos distributed cash assistance of P10,000 each for 60 selected beneficiaries from Region 3.
According to the President, he is also extending around P105 million in monetary support to the provincial governments of Pampanga, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, and Zambales.
Dimaandal said the distribution of assistance was carried out smoothly.“We are proud to announce that the activity was carried out smoothly and without any incidents, reflecting our commitment to ensuring the safety of everyone involved,” the Pampanga police director said.
