ROBBERS on Thursday attacked a hardware store in General Mamerto Natividad, Nueva Ecija.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. by the Nueva Ecija police stated that John Noel Ruiz, 36, owner of J.N. Hardware store and a resident of Purok Apitong II, Bgy. Poblacion, General Natividad, informed the police of the burglary.
Ruiz told police that two unidentified suspects entered the hardware store by destroying the rear wall and once inside seized the cashier’s bag containing at least P40,000 cash and a passbook.
The suspects escaped by using the same hole on the wall they destroyed.
The General Natividad police are conducting follow-up operation for possible identification and arrest of the robbers.
