CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Some 150 wanted persons in Central Luzon, including 39 most wanted in drugs, rape, and murder, were sent to jail by operatives of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3).
The arrests were made during a series of intensified police operations conducted by the PRO 3 from September 2 to 8.
The weeklong operation was part of PRO3’s ongoing efforts to eliminate criminals and enhance public safety in Central Luzon.
Coordinated police actions led to the arrests, bringing a significant blow to criminal elements in the region.
On September 9, alias “Bulok,” the no.1 most wanted in Hagonoy and no. 6 most wanted in Bulacan, was arrested by operatives of the Hagonoy police for rape.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. commended the dedication and perseverance of the personnel involved in the operations.
“These successful operations highlight our commitment to uphold the rule of law and protect our communities from criminal threats,” he said.
“The arrest of these wanted persons, especially those involved in heinous crimes, is a testament to our unyielding resolve to deliver justice and maintain peace in Central Luzon,” said Hidalgo.
“We will remain relentless in our campaign against lawlessness and criminality, and I call on the public to continue supporting us by providing timely information,” he added.
PRO3 assures the public that more operations will be conducted to capture other remaining fugitives, in line with the directives from PNP chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil.
