Biñan successfully passed the comprehensive SGLG “all-in” assessment criteria, which includes vital sectors such as financial administration and sustainability, disaster preparedness, social protection and sensitivity, health compliance and responsiveness, sustainable education, business-friendliness and competitiveness, safety, and peace and order, environmental management, tourism, heritage development, culture and arts, and youth development. The SGLG is the highest award conferred by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to provinces, cities, and municipalities. It symbolizes the DILG brand of “Matino, Mahusay, at Maaasahang Pamahalaang Lokal.”
