CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Anti-drug operatives on Wednesday arrested two drug suspects and seized at least P1.2 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Penones Jr. by Mabalacat City police chief Lt. Col. Efren David identified the suspects as alias “Lodu,” 53, a “high-value individual” from Bgy. Pandan, Angeles City, and alias “Man,” 32, a resident of Bgy. Camachiles, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Joint personnel of the Mabalacat City Police Station – Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), which served as the lead unit, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3, Pampanga Provincial Office as the support unit, launched the entrapment.
Peñones lauded the operating teams for their steadfast efforts in the continuing fight against illegal drugs.
“This accomplishment reflects our firm commitment to the PNP Focused Agenda under acting PNP chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., particularly on Enhanced Managing Police Operations, as we continue to intensify our drive to protect the people and promote peace and order,” Peñones said.
He assured the public that the PRO3 remains resolute in its campaign to rid Central Luzon of drug-related activities and to ensure a safer and more peaceful community.
