A 16-YEAR-OLD girl who was reported missing for over a week was found dead inside a luggage in San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan.
The victim, a resident of Tala, Caloocan, was discovered stuffed inside a suitcase on the night of February 13 which was found floating in Sapang Alat River, Bgy. Graceville in San Jose del Monte City.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo showed that the girl was reported missing by her family since February 7.
The victim was last seen going to a friend’s house.
Prior to the gruesome find, a resident complained of a foul smell coming from the slightly opened luggage floating in the river.
The witness immediately called the police.
Police theorized the luggage drifted from Caloocan City river to the adjacent Sapang Alat River in San Jose del Monte City.
Authorities have already identified persons of interest in the case.
An investigation is ongoing.
