A COUPLE and their 10-year-old son on Wednesday were shot dead by two men on a motorcycle in San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, the Nueva Ecija police identified the victims as Aurora, 52; her husband Don Rey, 55; and their son, all residents of San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija.
The victims were inside their store when the suspects riding a motorcycle arrived and pretended to be customers.
Witnesses said the suspects then fired shots at the victims, killing them on the spot.
Responding lawmen found at the crime scene six fired cartridge cases for a cal. .45 gun.
Police are reviewing the CCTV footage in the area to determine the identity of the suspects and the motive for the killing.
