FORMER President Rodrigo Duterte’s common-law partner Honeylet Avanceña and their daughter Veronica “Kitty” Duterte arrived at the Hague, Netherlands for the former chief executive’s 80th birthday tomorrow, March 28, 2025.
Honeylet and Kitty arrived at the Hague Penitentiary Institute past noon on Wednesday.
They were seen talking with the supporters of the former President when they arrived near Scheveningen Prison at around 12:30 p.m. (Central European time).
Earlier, Vice President Sara Duterte said her sister Kitty and her father’s current partner were scheduled to visit Duterte inside the International Criminal Court (ICC) detention center.
Meanwhile, the Vice President’s mother, Elizabeth Zimmerman, is set to arrive on March 28 or 29 while Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte will follow.
The former president is detained at Scheveningen Prison after he was arrested by the ICC for alleged crimes against humanity over his administration’s bloody war on drugs.
