PRESIDENT Ferdinand ”Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Friday said the country has sufficient crude oil supply until June 30, 2026.
The President issued the assurance as he said the government continues to seek other sources of crude oil.
“Mayroon na tayong supply of crude oil, sufficient supply hanggang June 30.
President Marcos said he had already had some discussions with Ramon Ang, who is also the president and CEO of Petron, a major fuel company in the Philippines.
According to news reports, a shipment of over 700,000 barrels of Russian crude oil has arrived in the country.
