A 14-YEAR-OLD female student on Wednesday was stabbed dead by her male classmate inside their school in Parañaque City.
The victim and the suspect, whose names were withheld, are both Grade 8 students.
Prior to the stabbing, the victim informed her teacher that the 14-year-old suspect brought a knife to the school and threatened to stab her.
The teacher and the victim were entering the room when the male classmate suddenly attacked the girl with a knife.
Despite her injuries, the victim was able to run away but the suspect chased her until the school security guards arrived and subdued the attacker.
The wounded victim was rushed to Ospital ng Parañaque 2 but was declared dead on arrival from four fatal wounds, mostly in the chest.
Responding barangay watchmen arrested the suspect and brought him to the Parañaque City Police’s Don Bosco Substation for further investigation.
At the police station, the suspect told probers that he was being bullied in their school that triggered the stabbing.
