FOUR members of a family today (AprIl 7, 2025) died in a fire that hit a residential building in Las Piñas City, Metro Manila.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the victims were a 38 year-old-man, his 35-year-old wife and their children aged 17 and 3.
The victims were trapped at the second floor of the burning residential building.
An investigation showed the fire started past 1:30 a.m. in a residential building at Bernabe Compound in Bgy. Pulang lupa Uno in Las Piñas City.
The fire reached fourth alarm.
At least four firetrucks contained the blaze.
Firefighters declared a fire out at 1 :37 a.m.
Authorities theorized faulty electrical wiring or an overheated appliance started the blaze.
The fire damage was placed at P600,000.
