A TRICYCLE driver on Thursday, April 10, 2025, was arrested by operatives of the Manila Police District (MPD) for allegedly killing his pregnant wife and dumping her body at a garbage dump in Tondo, Manila.
The victim, a 28-year-old woman, is reportedly five-months pregnant.
Her body was found on a pile of trash in front of the Bagong Tondo Wellness Center on Juan Luna St., Bgy. 61 around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
The pregnant woman sustained multiple stab wounds, mostly in the chest. She was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
On Thursday, police arrested the suspect, an alias “Reynaldo,”45, of Tondo.
“Reynaldo” was identified thru a CCTV footage in the area as the one who dumped his wife.
The suspect reportedly fled to Baliwag, Bulacan after the killing.
Initial investigation showed jealousy was the motive for the gruesome murder.
