ANTI-DRUG operatives on Thursday night arrested a Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) chairman and his alleged cohort in a buy-bust operation at a roadside inn in Butuan City, the Butuan City Police Office (BCPO) on Friday said.
Nabbed were alias “Kenth,” 21, the SK chair of Bgy. Masao, and alias “Baki,” 34, from Bgy. San Ignacio.
According to the BCPO, the duo are listed as “high-value individuals” (HVIs) in the local police’ drug watchlist.
Seized were nine sachets of suspected shabu, weighing approximately 25 grams and with an estimated street value of P170,000
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspects.
