POLICE on Tuesday arrested a “high-value” target and seized some P374,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Sta. Lucia, Magalang, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Penones Jr., Pampanga police director Col. Eugene M. Marcelo identified the suspect as alias “Mauro,” 32, of Sta. Lucia Resettlement, Magalang town.
The Magalang police Drug Enforcement Unit, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3, arrested the suspect following a series of surveillance.
Confiscated from alias “Mauro” were around 55 grams of shabu valued at P374,000.
The arrested suspect was brought to the Magalang Police Station and will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
